Alyssa Protsch-Husman, LPC-Supervisee, NCC

I am passionate about meeting people where they are at, and using an

eclectic approach with each individual. I believe everyone is deserving of a safe

space to heal and to nurture the necessary skills to approach life’s challenges.

I have

considerable experience providing mental health care in inpatient, outpatient, and school

settings. I have helped children and families with a range of challenges including trauma,

grief/loss, anxiety, self-esteem, attachment, ADHD, depression, behavioral concerns, and

parenting. I strive to provide

a safe space for families and couples to gain deeper understanding of relationship dynamics,

nurture positive change, learn effective coping strategies, and resolve relationship

barriers. Additionally, I am qualified in civil and family mediation which provides another layer

of conflict resolution skills that are helpful when clients are seeking a neutral and confidential

setting to openly discuss and process their views to effectively resolve problems. I am currently in pursuit of licensure and under supervision with Amanda Davis.

I look forward to meeting you!
