  • This is a common question. Medication management and therapy serve different purposes, and many patients benefit from a combination of both. Therapy focuses on processing experiences, building coping skills, and creating behavioral change, while medication can help regulate symptoms such as anxiety, depression, or mood instability.
Our providers can help guide you through this decision during an initial evaluation.

Some common symptoms people experience, that can be treated with medication include:

    *Excessive anxiety or worry

    *Becoming easily fatigued

    *Difficulty concentrating

    *Sleep disturbance

*Decreased interest in doing things you once enjoyed

    *Feeling down, depressed, hopeless

    *Suicidal thoughts

    *Change in eating habits

    *Intrusive thoughts or memories

    *Distressing flashbacks

    *Exaggerated startle response

    *Negative beliefs about yourself

    *Heightened frustration or irritability

    *Increased conflict

    *Compulsive behaviors or urges

    *History of trauma

    *Loss of a loved one

  • After you schedule, you’ll receive an email with a link to complete intake paperwork. This is helpful for our provider to begin getting to know about you. Your initial appointment may include testing, a diagnostic assessment, and prescription of medication. Follow-up appointments are scheduled to ensure medication is working well for you, without any side effects.
