A yoga practice stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system (the body's natural relaxation response), which lowers heart rate, releases muscular tension, and decreases brain wave activity. Evidence-based research has shown that yoga can counter the effects of stress, depression, and trauma, enhance immune response, improve strength, flexibility, and balance, and boost overall well-being.

Our therapeutic yoga studio is:
*A space for every body.
*Small, allowing up to 18 students.
*Room temperature, not hot, with a cozy fireplace!
*Offering classes that are more accessible - like restorative and yin.

We will not:
*Have mirrors in the studio, to allow students to be present and notice their experience.
*Do hands-on assists without consent
